Sloth and monkey spotting in San Manuel Antonio park

After a few hours of driving you will arrive at this idyllic place. The beach of San Manuel Antonio is one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica. It is the only place where the jungle meets the beach, which makes it very special.

Today you can chill on the beach or have a tasteful cocktail in one of the nice bars.

This morning you get up very early to visit the park, as in the morning you have the best chances to spot animals. The guide takes you through the park and has a telephoto lens with him with which you can spot the animals together (without that lens it is hard to see the animals). The nice thing is that with your smartphone you can take pictures of what the telephoto lens shows you.

We were very lucky to see at least eight sloths, a raccoon, a hummingbird on his nest, special frogs, spiders and the cute capuchin monkeys with their babies. The children loved the sloths of course!

The guide will take you to the beautiful beach in the park and then you can enjoy the magnificent views, relax for 2 hours and then you can walk back yourself  to the entrance.

Today take your time to have your breakfast, let the children swim again and leave for your next destination in Costa Rica.
