Unforgettable 18-day round trip through Florida

As soon as you arrive in Sunny Miami, you will quickly forget about Belgium. The first day will be relax, to recover from the jetlag. Maybe you want to rest on the beautiful beach of South Beach? Let the kids splash in the water and spot the colourful huts of the lifeguards while walking on the beach. Meanwhile, you’ll enjoy a scenery of cool art deco buildings. In the evening you can stroll through the Cuban district of Little Havana or the art deco district with its pastel-tinted buildings.

Today you will make a wonderful trip with the speedboat. Go a little earlier, as the boat leaves from a nice shopping mall. You can shop or eat something before you start the trip. But finally it’s all about sailing. Two cool Americans are at the helm and sail at high speed on the waves of the bay. Fantastic! Especially when it’s hot, this is a wonderful refreshment. This trip in “Miami Vice”-style guarantees at least three quarters of an hour of adrenaline and fun! You’ll pass South Beach Miami and the houses of the rich and famous. Marvel at the palaces of Ricky Martin, the Beckhams, Sylvester Stallone, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan and other celebrities. A unique experience!

You leave Miami and arrive after about 3 hours in the beautiful Cocoa Beach where we have selected a hotel on the beach for you.

Get up early today because you really need all day to visit the Kennedy Space Center. There is a lot to do. Start with the Kennedy Space Center Tour, to avoid big queues. Take your binoculars with you and discover the launch pads of the many shuttles. In the IMAX cinema you can also see two films about life on board of a space shuttle and the space challenges for the future.

The children will have a great time during the Shuttle Launch Experience as they will be able to experience a real launch.

The city of Orlando is specially designed for families to have an unforgettable holiday. We always make sure that your resort is close to the theme parks, with a nice swimming pool as well where you can relax.

We booked 3 days in Orlando, including a visit to two parks. As you stay near the parks, you can start early in the morning.

Set your alarm clock on time because you’re going to Disney World, “the happiest place on earth”! Disney World is a combination of different parks. The oldest and most famous is of course Magic Kingdom, home of Minnie and Mickey Mouse. But there are also the Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom, the Hollywood studios and the water parks. You can go from one park to another.

If you have older children, we can change the trip and choose the parks of Universal Studios.

Today you go to Seaworld, the largest marine theme park in the world. Expect penguins dancing around and exciting stunts from bottlenose dolphins and orcas. But you’ll also find plenty of roller coasters like the Shamu Express for younger children or the Manta for the bigger ones.

After the drive it’s fun to put on your flip-flops and go to the beach. In Clearwater/Sint-Petersburg you can chill out on the beautiful white beaches. You will stay close to the beach. In the evening you can relax strolling on the boulevard and do some shopping.

Today you will cruise with a speedboat for a 1,5 hour tour along the beaches. Meanwhile you are amazed by the acrobatic antics of the bottlenose dolphin. The tour starts with a breathtaking race where the dolphins are invited to jump, surf and dive in the wake of the boat. But there is more: enjoy the freedom of feeling at sea and the beautiful view of the beaches. The children will talk about this for a long time.

You will stay on the beautiful island of Sanibel or in the lovely town of Fort Meyers. Sanibel is, together with Captiva, an island that is connected to the mainland by a bridge.

The millions of shells attract thousands of collectors from all over the world. And rightly so! This day will be lovely, because you and the children sail to a deserted island in half an hour. This place can only be reached by boat. Relax for 2 to 4 hours on the white beaches. Meanwhile, the children can snorkel and collect numerous shells. The tides throw so many shells on the beach, that they sometimes completely cover the sand. One shell is even more beautiful than the other. Shell-seekers walk around curved, looking for beautiful specimens. This attitude is so typical here that it is called the Sanibel Stoop. According to experts, the best time to visit the islands (at least for the shells) is after a north to northwest storm. Then the shell carpet is at its thickest.

White sand, waving palm trees, colourful houses and countless pelicans: welcome to the enchanting coastal town of Naples!

Walk today to the iconic pier of Naples, which is a well-known landmark of the city. It is also the ideal place to spot dolphins. Thanks to the activities of the many fishermen, the wonderful animals swim around the pier.You can admire them very close.

Don’t forget to take some time for shopping: Naples’ most famous shopping street is 5th Avenue South. This is the local walhalla for shoppers. The street is quite green because of the many palm trees. It is never chaotic and almost always warm, creating a relaxed atmosphere. So stroll along the colourful buildings with boutiques, galleries, cafes, restaurants and delicacies.

We have booked a fantastic and safe kayak trip through the most beautiful mangrove ecosystem, a swamp area with tunnels of branches and roots and many wild animals. The alligators are sleeping on the side as you pass by, you see beautiful flowers and birds. Enjoy the silence and nature. The children loved making their way through the mangrove with the kayaks while observing the alligators. This is a very calm trip of about three hours, feasible by all families, with a cool guide who can tell you everything about the fauna and flora.

You’d rather stay away from the alligators? Or are your children still too small for the kayak trip? Then you can discover the Everglades with one of those typical propeller boats. You can inform us when you request a quotation.

You will stay on one of the islands of the Keys: Islamorada or Key Largo. Key Largo with its beautiful white beaches is just an hour’s drive from Miami and is one of the first Keys you’ll see when you drive towards Key West. If you stay on the dreamy Islamorada, it will take you about two hours.

The children can immediately enjoy the snorkeling because the underwater world is wonderful here. People come from far away to dive or snorkel here.

Today you will experience an unforgettable adventure: you go swimming with dolphins and their instructors in a bay. We organize this where the dolphins are very well cared for and where there they also invest a lot in the welfare of the animals in general. It is owned by a renowned nature conservation organisation.

You do several rides with the dolphins. Our children chose the “dorsal pull” as the nicest. They were pulled along by two dolphins for a small race. And we also found it an enduring experience to communicate with these intelligent animals. This is an ideal trip for the whole family. An unforgettable experience!

One last night at South Beach in Miami. Another nice walk on Ocean Drive and relax on the beach before returning home after a fantastic tour. The children will talk about it for a long time.
