Hotel
Day 1: Arrival at Crystal River
You arrive at your hotel and you can immediately take a nice walk through the domain and admire the river that flows through it. You also stay close to the water, maybe you can already see a manatee swimming by.
Day 2: Swimming with the manatees
To go swimming with the manatees you have to get out early, but the hotel is equipped for that. Also in the early hours you get a nice breakfast.
In the winter months Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge is home to hundreds of manatees. This way they escape the cold winter, but they also come to mate and take care of their young.
When the boat leaves, the tension rises. As soon as you go into the water with a snorkel, the world suddenly becomes so calm. And then they appear, the enormous manatees of up to 3 meters long. You can hear and see them grazing at the bottom of the river, which our children found very funny. These are beautiful animals, so a dive between the manatees is unforgettable!
Day 3: Departure from Crystal River
Another dive in the pool, a nice breakfast and you leave for the next experience. From here you can perfectly go to Clearwater to race with dolphins. Or you can visit the nice park Bush Garden with the building block “Go on safari and get little jabs of pleasure on the rollercoasters”.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

- The boat trip to swim with the manatees including snorkel equipment and wetsuits (suits to get in the water).
Prices are calculated based on a stay in July-August and for a family with two adults and two children (2-11 years) sleeping in the same room. If you are travelling in a different period or with a different family composition, prices may vary. Car rental not included.
