Where to stay?

Day 1: Arrival in Naples

Today, you arrive in Naples. You’ll be staying in the “centro storico”, the historic centre. It’s a very cosy place with authentic streets, charming plazas, and beautiful buildings. As you’re wandering through the streets, don’t forget to look up. You’ll immediately see the clothes drying from outside the inhabitants’ windows: a typical Italian image.

In the evening, the streets come to life and the terraces start filling up. You see a bunch of families come together around a table full of yummy pizzas.

Day 2: Tasting the delicious homemade Neapolitan pizza!

MAKE A neapolitan PIZZA

Today, you can learn how to make the real Neapolitan pizza. Timing, temperature, fresh ingredients and a real pizzaiolo (pizzamaker) are all crucial to the process. After taking the pizza out of the oven and putting it on your plate, you can start devouring the delicious dish. Let’s be honest, what tastes better than a homemade pizza?

Day 3: Arrival on Ischia

You arrive by ferryboat from Naples. After that, you leave to the hotel that’s situated right next to the beach and the thermal springs. Thanks to the nice placement of the hotel, you can get an immediate taste of the peaceful atmosphere Ischia offers.

Day 4: Enjoying the thermal springs

RELAXing BY THE WATER

Today, you get to enjoy. In the afternoon, you’ll be expected in a magical domain with a dozen thermal springs and pools. Enjoy the volcanic water and go cool off in the sea afterwards. On the beautiful beach, you’ll be given lounge chairs and a parasol.

Children starting at 1m40 (about 8 years old) can enter all the thermal springs and pools. Children smaller than that can go in two pools and on the beach.

Rest assured, the family will be completely “zenned out” when you return to the hotel.

Day 5: Arrival in Sorrento

In the morning, you get on board the ferry boat towards Naples. From there, you go to Sorrento. You’ll be staying in a calm and beautifully place agriturismo in the mountains.
The many tourists wandering in the streets make Sorrento a vibrant city. Although, it’s still very nice to walk around the city, to shop or to eat in a cosy restaurant.

Day 6: Rent your own motorboat

TAKE THE HELM

Today, you’ll become captain of your own motorboat. First, you have to go to Sorrento, where you’ll be awaited at the boat rental. You’ll receive the keys of the motorboat you’ll spend you whole day sailing with. It’s not even that hard to navigate a motorboat either. You don’t even need a boating licence. You can sail along the coast or set sail to the island of Capri and sail around it. The children can sit on the pillows at the front to sunbathe or simply sit.

You can also throw out the anchor at some beautiful spots and let the children swim and scuba dive. If you’re getting hot, you can leave and continue sailing with a nice breeze pushing you further.
It’s a nice and unique way to discover the Amalfi Coast with your children.

Day 7: Arrival in Pertosa

DISCOVER THE PERTOSA CAVES

Today, you arrive in Pertosa.
Pertosa is a small municipality within the city of Salerno and is famous for its caves and beautiful sights.
The beautiful caves are definitely worth a visit. You can visit them by foot or by boat. You can then sail through the caves and see the beautiful walls pass you by. The inside of the caves is also nicely lit with spots that colour the walls in a vibrant purple. Both kids and parents immediately recognise it as a nice and pleasant vibe!

Day 8: Family rafting on the Tanagro river

ON A FAMILY ADVENTURE IN THE NATIONAL PARK OF CILENTO

Today you leave for the national park Cilento. There you’ll go on a fun family rafting adventure on the Tanagro river. The rafting is completely safe and made with qualified guides. You’ll fly past the magical and wild landscapes. It’s a nice experience that you and your family will remember forever.

Rafting is an activity fit for everyone, as long as you’re in good health. Children of all ages (kids starting at age 5, teens, and adults) are welcome.

Day 9: Arrival in Paestum

VISIT THE TEMPLES IN PAESTUM

You’ll be staying in a beautiful hotel on the beach. The ideal place to relax for a bit!

Today, you could also visit the famous temples of Paestum. Take a second to imagine how the ancient Greeks and Romans used to walk on the same exact stones you’re walking on!

On the archeological site, you’ll find the temples of Neptune, Athena, and Hera. It is even considered one of the most important archeological sites of Italy and is now on the list of the World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.

Seen as the temples are very well preserved, it’s also nice to visit it with the children. They can walk around the ruins and be real archeologists.

Day 10: Petting the buffalos on the farm

BUFFALO MOZZARELLA!

Today, you’ll go to a real buffalo farm where they make Mozzarella di Bufala on the daily. You’ll get a fun tour of the farm during which you’ll learn everything about the buffalos and on how they make buffalo mozzarella. The children can pet the animals and feed them some grass or hay. You can also meet the newborn buffalos. They’re so cute!

The whole tour takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

On the domain, you can find a restaurant, where, after the tour, you can finally try the delicious Mozzarella di Bufala. We would especially recommend it with a nice pasta plate.

In the afternoon, you can freshen up on the beach or in the pool and you can enjoy the sun.

Day 11: Back home!

Today, you’re leaving the Amalfi Coast to go back home.
