Day 1: Arrival at Knysna
You will arrive at your lodge which is located on Leasure Island, an island near Knysna. Leisure Island is a great choice for travellers who love beach walks and peace and quiet. For example, there’s Bollard Bay, a very child-friendly beach on Leasure Island. It is located in the lagoon, very safe for swimming. You will find it on the southern side of the island. Buffels Bay beach as well, is very nice and quiet for families with children.
Day 2: Taste delicious oysters!

You can taste oysters in style in Knysna. You will cruise with an oyster boat on which you will learn all about one of the world’s most beloved delicacies. You can taste the difference between wild and farmed oysters while crossing the lagoon. Ask questions, take pictures, stimulate your taste buds aboard the “Oyster Boat” with a small group of guests. You can taste the oysters in combination with a delicious local white wine.
Day 3: Departure from Knysna
If you leave Knysna after a nice beach walk, you can drive on to Oudtshoorn to discover the building block “Staying at the ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn”.
