In Thailand you can encounter the infectious diseases bilharzia, dengue (dengue fever), diphtheria-tetanus-polio (DTP), yellow fever, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria and rabies. The government imposes specific obligations in relation to these infectious diseases.

Go to the doctor at least 6 weeks before you leave. Ultimately, your travel destination, length of stay, health and the activities you undertake will determine which vaccinations and measures are necessary for you and your children.

If you would like more information about the vaccinations in Thailand and the home pharmacy, please visit our page “Healthy trip”. There you will also find more information about the places where you can get vaccinated.
