Floating through the cloud forest of Monteverde

Arrival at Monteverde in the mountains. It is really much cooler here compared to the coast.

If you drive up, you can already enjoy the beautiful views and mists, hanging between the mountains and for which this region is so famous. You’ll notice a totally different vegetation and climate than in the other areas of Costa Rica.

You will be picked up early at your hotel and taken to the forest where, under the guidance of a team of experts, you will make a trip through the forest by taking 18 consecutive ziplines.

The children are very well cared for and just loved it. The longest zipline is up to 1 km long. There are many ziplines in Costa Rica, but this is really the best one and a wonderful experience to float through the forest.

You can then choose to make a walk on the suspension bridges. This is a nice walk of 3 km over several suspension bridges (one hour walk).

Also very nice to visit on site with the children: the Kolibri garden. The beautiful Kolibri birds just sit on your finger to drink nectar.

Then the bus will take you back to your hotel where you can reminisce on a very active day and spend a few hours at the pool.

Today take your time to have breakfast, let the children swim and leave for your next destination in Costa Rica.
