Today you arrive in Sukhothai which was once the capital of Thailand in the thriving 13th and 14th centuries. The wealth in that age was mainly invested in building impressive temples that are still super well preserved today. A magical authentic place to explore with kids!

You stay overnight in the old part of town in a quiet hotel set in the greenery around beautiful lotus ponds. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the beautiful pool!

Today 2 chefs will pick you up for a delicious adventure in Thai cuisine.

First you will visit the local market where they amaze you with typical Thai fruits and vegetables, pink (fermented) eggs and the best cake stall in Thailand! You buy the necessary ingredients for your 4-course dinner and then drive on to the kitchen, which is spaciously equipped so that everyone can cut, chop, mince, mince, boil, fry, … and this with a blissful view of a banana plantation.

We made the famous papaya salad (mom’s favorite), Pad Thai noodles, fried rice (daughter’s favorite), Panang curry according to their secret family recipe and a very nice colorful Thai dessert! Rosalie also learned how to turn a tomato into a rose, which of course she loved!
