Relaxing and canoeing in Khao Lak

Arrival at Khao Lak and check-in at your hotel from 14:00. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Khao Lak is an hour’s drive north of Phuket, and one of the best things about Khao Lak are the beautiful and unspoilt beaches.

Khoa Lak does not have a mega-shopping centre like Phuket or many other destinations. Here it is a lot quieter and you can relax on the beach.

You’ll be picked up at 07:15 for a day trip to Phang Nga Bay Discovery and a canoe trip.

From a small pier in the mangrove forest of Phang Nga Bay we go on a longtail boat to the world famous “James Bond Island”, where they recorded parts of the movie “The man with the Golden Gun”, starring Roger Moore. We continue our trip to a floating canoeing station where you can enjoy a guided canoe trip along beautiful mangroves and limestone caves. These unique islands are a UNESCO world heritage site!

We then stop at “Koh Panyee” – a gypsy village on stilts – for a Thai lunch, before we go back to the mainland. We also visit the “Suwankahuha Temple”, a cave with a huge Bhuddha statue among long-tailed macaque monkeys. Around 17:00 hours you will be brought back to your hotel.

A whole day to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Let the children have a good time in this beautiful environment!

Just enjoy Khao Lak for a while and then return home or start with the next building block.
