Cycle along ruins and rice fields in Sukhothai

Today you arrive in Sukhothai which was once the capital of Thailand in the thriving 13th and 14th centuries. The wealth in that age was mainly invested in building impressive temples that are still super well preserved today. A magical authentic place to explore with kids!

You stay overnight in the old part of town in a quiet hotel set in the greenery around beautiful lotus ponds. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the beautiful pool!

Today you will be picked up for a very varied bike tour in Sukhothai.

You start in a small village where mountain bikes with helmets (including children’s sizes) await you. You will explore local life and cycle through villages and the green rice fields in the countryside. On the way you stop at a local store to taste the famous ‘sticky rice’ snack, delicious!

Then it’s time to go and admire a piece of Unesco World Heritage Site by bike at Sukhothai Historical Park. The impressive ruins are scattered throughout a green park surrounded by water … a wonderful exploration with the kids awaits your family! You cycle from one historical monument to the next and the ruins are also perfect for playing hide and seek or making silly insta-photos and cool tic-toc videos. A playful visit to one of the most beautiful temple complexes in the country!

After all the action with the family, finish with a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy!
