Tuktuk in Bangkok

Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

Today you arrive in Bangkok. Recuperate from the long trip and take a refreshing dip in the pool. In the late afternoon, you can also catch a tuktuk for a first tour in Bangkok – great fun for the kids and the parents!

Day 2: Learn cool Thai boxing moves

Ready for some action? Today you will learn the coolest tricks of Muay Thai boxing in a real outdoor boxing club. Thailand is the land of the ancient traditional martial art Muay Thai. This is very similar to kickboxing, but the difference is that you also use your knees and elbows.

A good physical condition is essential in this sport so when you arrive, you immediately start with an active warm-up with stretching exercises and jumping rope. Then it’s time for the real thing and you’ll practice some Muay Thai techniques with your professional Thai sparring partner. Your hands and wrists will be bandaged first so they are well protected and have a better grip. You will learn to move correctly with hands, elbows, knees and legs. Then it’s time to test out the moves you’ve learned with real boxing gloves and punching pads. These are also available in children’s sizes so kids and teens can have a blast too!

After the stretching, you can enjoy some delicious street food while watching some professional Thai boxers train. A great experience for the whole family!
